A 'Quota' is a specified size limit imposed on your accounts. You can set quota's on Email accounts and FTP accounts to restrict the amount of disk space used by those accounts. You also have a DiskSpace quota which applies to your entire webspace including any databases you may have. You Disk Space quota is determined by the hosting package you sign up for.
All accounts are activated the same day provided there are no problems billing your Credit Card. If you're transfering an existing domain name, while you will have access to your FTP server the same day, it may take up to 24 hours for your DNS to resolve world wide.
